I make cheese stuffed chicken breast so many different ways, but broccoli and spinach cream version are my favorite. Cheese stuffed chicken recipes are simple as you can imagine. Broccoli and Cheese Stuffed Chicken breast are filled with cheddar and broccoli, then rolled up, breaded and baked in the oven or air fryer!

If you want to make them low-carb, you can leave the breadcrumbs out or try wrapping them in bacon.

Chicken breasts are such supper stuff that it’s often difficult to think of them as anything special. Well, I give you a tremendous trick: Just split chicken breasts and filling them with your favorite flavors like spinach cream or broccoli cheese and garlic come together to make them delicious as ever you had.

  • 2 eggs.
  • 10 thin chicken breast cutlets, about 3 to 4 ounces.
  • 2 cups broccoli floret or spinach, finely chopped.
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese, cut in half 3 oz
  • ¾ cup whole wheat or gluten-free seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp water
  • ¾ tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tbs olive oil spray

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400F. Splash a sheet dish with olive oil.
  2. Put broccoli in the microwave with 1 tbs water, spread and cook 1 minute until delicate. Drain and season with ¼ tsp salt.
  3. Take a little bowl, add egg, water, salt and beat with a fork until it mixes well; put aside. Fill a second bowl with breadcrumbs.
  4. If the chicken breasts are not sufficiently thin to roll easily, pound it slender with wax paper and a mallet. Season both sides of the chicken breast with ½ tsp salt. Add a ½ slice of cheddar and top with 2 tbs broccoli or spinach, finely chopped.
  5. Roll the chicken around to totally cover cheddar, utilizing toothpicks to secure the finishes, if necessary.
  6. Dip chicken into egg then breadcrumbs and transfer to a work plate. Spray the olive oil both sides of chicken breast and place on the air fryer basket, in bunches. Cook around 15 minutes, turning most of the way until the chicken is cooked through in the middle. Expel toothpicks before eating.
