Slice the plantains in half and cut into about ½ inch thick pieces. Fry for 4 minutes on each side until brown. Expel from frying pan with a slotted spoon and set them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain. Season with salt or pepper to taste.

6) Now, you can serve the Jamaican chicken with the fried plantains.
